The Special Events division promotes and coordinates non-dues income for the Chamber. The following activities benefit our community and membership:| Annual Awards Breakfast An annual breakfast in December which honors our volunteers throughout the year. This awards breakfast toasts members who have helped The Chamber achieve their goals. The leadership of the Chamber is also represented with the "passing of the gavel." For the past several years, members have brought Toys for Tots to the Awards Breakfast. More Info. |
| Business to Business Expo An annual trade show which affords members an opportunity to display merchandise and services to area businesses at a nominal fee. This event is usually held at a prestigious location in the Pompano area. Expo is a perfect way for a business to spotlight itself to members and the community. More Info. |
| Golf Tournament This fall gathering of members is the perfect way to meet and greet in an outdoor setting. Companies form teams with employees and clients blending sportsmanship and business on one of Pompano's beautiful golf courses. More Info. |
| Holiday Boat Parade One of the oldest Holiday Boat Parades in the Nation. This annual event in December is brought to the community by the dedication of business and volunteers in the area. Committee members direct plans for parties, posters, advertising, special events such as the Captain's Party with the culmination of approximately 50-75 brightly decorated boats illuminating our waterway. The boat parade has no boat entry fee. Sponsorship is available. More Info. |
| Seafood Festival Pompano Jack invites you to the biggest beach party around. The Annual Pompano Beach Seafood Festival is always held in April right here in Pompano Beach. For 2010 the dates are April 16. 17 & 18. The Festival is located at the end of Atlantic Boulevard where the street ends and the beach sand begins. | Small Business Person of the Year Luncheon An annual luncheon, held in conjunction with the Broward County Council of Chambers. Each chamber awards a local business person during this luncheon. More Info. |
